Marvin Harrison was knocked out of the College Football Playoff semifinals with a concussion.

Ryan Day said that Harrison was put into concussion protocol after he was hit in the end zone by a Georgia player. He did not return to the game after being examined by the medical team.

The call for targeting was initially called out by the referees.

I didn't see it, but I was told that Harrison didn't take a shot to the head, which is hard for me to believe. I have to watch the replay to make sure I don't get a concussion.

He said that he felt good enough to come back. He said that he was aware of it all.

He said it was a normal hit. I felt like I could return to the game.

Harrison said that he wanted to come back but that the trainers wouldn't let him. The Ohio State trainer talked to Harrison multiple times.

Harrison, who had five catches for 106 yards and two touchdown, said that he was looked out for at the end of the day. I agree with their decision.

Harrison took a hit while Ohio State was ahead. They settled for a field goal to increase their lead.

Georgia defeated Ohio State 18 to 3.

Bennett threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Adonai Mitchell to give Georgia a one point lead.

Noah Ruggles missed a field goal with three seconds left after C.J. Stroud drove the offense in 51 seconds.

Losing Marvin had an effect on the game.

The Ohio State offense was affected byHarrison's loss. Stover was hurt in the first quarter and left the game.

Day said that the loss of Cade early in the game sent the team into a tailspin.

In one of his best games of the season, he bounced back from a poor performance in a loss to Michigan that almost cost Ohio State a spot in the playoffs.

The quarterback completed 23 of 34 passes for 348 yards and four touchdown. He carried the ball for 34 yards.

"I believe we should have won the game," he said.

The same thing was said by day.

He said there was no one in the locker room who didn't think we should have won the game. It's going to sit in our stomachs for a long time.

Harrison didn't want to be out with his teammates.

The chance to go to the national championship is in the fourth quarter. I would have liked to be with my teammates.

He wished he'd done better.

He thinks he didn't make enough plays to help the team win. I didn't perform as well as I could have. I'm going to work on getting better next year.
