OOPS! CNN Misses Midnight In Botched New Year's Eve Broadcast

At least one major flub occurred on New Year's Eve as the network missed the clock in the central time zone.

As midnight approached, the network showed Don Lemon and revelers in New Orleans dancing to a song by juvenile.

It might have been too late for Lemon to notice. He could be heard saying something about a new year just after midnight. The song continued a bit longer, leading to a split screen image of fireworks and hugs in Nashville, which is in the Central time zone.

The broadcast seemed to have technical issues that prevented Lemon from hearing from his producers.

The missed midnight was noticed by viewers.
