The Dallas Mavericks needed all of their players to beat the San Antonio Spurs in order to win the game.
Dallas escaped with a 126-125 victory over San Antonio on Saturday night, thanks in part to Luka Doncic, who had two rebound and two free throws in the last 4.5 seconds.
It was the third 50-point outing in the past five games for Doncic, who had 60 points, 21 rebound and 10 assists in an overtime victory over the New York Knicks. He was the first player in NBA history to have 250 points, 50 rebound and 50 assists in five games.

Dallas has won five straight against San Antonio.
Keldon Johnson had 30 points for Sam Antonio, Jeremy Sochan had 20 points, and Jakob Poeltl had 19 points.
The Mavericks had to scramble in the last minute.
Jones missed the second of his two free throws and the Spurs were down by 12 points. Jones missed the second free throw.
San Antonio was going to attempt a game-winning shot, but Doncic missed two free throws.
"It's hard to win here," Kidd said. Luka was amazing. He bails us out by missing the free throws because they didn't have time to set up a play.
Popovich joked that he would hold Doncic under 50 points. The Mavericks player was close to playing along.
Doncic said he just wanted to get a victory.

The 6-foot-7 forward was stuck on 49 points for half of the fourth quarter, but made two free throws with 4.5 seconds remaining to get to 50 points for the fourth time in his career. In December, Doncic averaged 35.1 points, the highest score in franchise history.
Doncic had a lot of jumpers, 3-pointers, and free throws. He was perfect from the field.
He's an amazing player and we had a good team effort and individual effort on him. He has an IQ that is off the chart. We would rather win than lose, but I'm really proud of the way they kept going even though we were down.
In the first quarter, Doncic had 22 points and an assist, accounting for most of the Mavericks' points.
