Batson was arrested early Saturday morning after he fled the scene of a traffic stop and fought with police.
Batson was pulled over by the Atlanta Police Department. He failed to maintain his lane on the freeway. The situation turned physical after Batson allegedly resisted arrest.
According to police, the officer fired his gun, hitting no one, before Batson got back into his truck and fled. Police arrested him after he crashed the truck and fled on foot.
Batson and the officer were hospitalized. There were no charges against Batson.
Batson's arrest was acknowledged by the Falcons.
