  • Donald Trump asked his son-in-law to try to trademark the phrase "rigged election".

  • There are false claims about the 2020 election being rigged.

Donald Trump wanted to trademark the phrase "rigged election!" after he lost the election in 2020, according to a transcript of an interview his son-in-law gave to the House select committee.

According to the March 31 interview transcript, Dan Scavino, a former White House aide, sent an email to Kushner just a few days after the election.

According to the transcript, it was most likely that the email was a request from Trump.

The transcript shows that the body of the email from Scavino was "HeyJared!" I don't know who to ask, but the president wants to trademark/own rights to below.

Two phrases were included in bold, including exclamation marks.

When asked by the panel if he did anything with the request, he said he did not remember.

According to the transcript, Eric Trump said that the two websites were already registered.

The transcript shows that Kushner told the panel that his role was "operational" and that he couldn't remember the purpose of the phrase "rigged election."

It was a rigged election after Trump lost to Biden. He continues to use the phrase when talking about election fraud. He said on his Truth Social platform that the election was rigged.

Ken Cuccinelli, who was appointed to a position at the Department of Homeland Security by Trump, claimed in an interview with the House panel that he had no recollection of the former president saying the election was rigged.

The claim that the election was rigged is not true. The election results have been reviewed and deemed legitimate.
