Gary Hahn, the play-by-play man for NC State football and men's basketball, has been suspended for making an offensive comment about immigrants and the city of El Paso.

The general manager of Wolfpack Sports Properties said that the play-by-play man for the network had been suspended for comments made during the Duke's Mayo Bowl broadcast.

Since 1991, he has broadcasted NC State football and men's basketball. He was the North Carolina Sportscaster of the Year in both of the last two years.

Due to the El Paso convention center being used to house migrants, the Sun Bowl canceled its fan fiesta on Thursday.

Due to the state of emergency that has been declared, the Fan Fiesta scheduled for December 29th has been canceled. The Fan Fiesta was canceled because some poor migrants are being housed at the convention center.

According to Leyla Santiago,Rosa Flores and Elizabeth Wolfe of CNN.com, the Supreme Court allowed federal officers to continue expelling migrants before they receive an asylum hearing.

The Supreme Court ruled that Title 42 could remain active while it was being challenged.

The city of El Paso has declared a state of emergency due to the influx of migrants.

Migrants were being housed in the convention center along with hotels, churches and NGOs.
