South Carolina and Notre Dame scored the most points in the history of the Gator Bowl. There is a time and a place for it.
Notre Dame defeated South Carolina 45-38 in the TaxSlayer Bowl on Friday.
There were a lot of big plays and memorable moments in the high- scoring game. The knockout blow came when he found Evans wide open for a 16-yard touchdown on a third-and-7 play.

South Carolina scored on the two pick-sixes and on special teams, but Notre Dame still won. The strangest touchdown in bowl history was connected by Kai Kroger and Hunter Rogers.
Spencer Rattler completed 29 of 44 passes for 246 yards and two touchdown's for the USC.
Running back MarShawn Lloyd, versatile tight end Jaheim Bell, tight end Austin Stogner, defensive lineman Zacch Pickens, safety Devonni Reed, and defensive backs Cam Smith and Josh Vann were all missing.
"For us to be down that many players and for those guys to play their tails off like they did, I'm really really proud to be their coach," Beamer said. There is a group of guys in the locker room that are hurt.
Notre Dame played without several players, including an All-American tight end.
The ability to respond to situations is what real life is about.
