The Washington Commanders will be without their leading scorer for Sunday's game against Cleveland because of injuries.

After missing the last three days of practice, it was expected that he wouldn't play.

For the second year in a row, Gibson surpassed the 1,000 yard mark. He had 1,037 yards on the ground and seven touchdown on the ground.

He hasn't matched that pace. He has run for 547 yards and three scores.

The Commanders spent a lot of money on their passing game. They got the quarterback from the Indy Colts. They chose Penn State wide receiver Jahan Dotson with the 16th pick.

Brian Robinson Jr. has emerged as the team's top running back this year after rushing for 710 yards and two scores.

Robinson will be asked to carry the load for the Commanders in Week 17 as they try to keep their playoff hopes alive against the Cleveland.
