According to a report, the Los Angeles Dodgers are unlikely to keep Bauer after he was found guilty of violating Major League Baseball's joint domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse policy.
According to Jon Heyman of the New York Post, the Dodgers are expected to release the right-handed pitcher because they don't want him in their locker room.
The Dodgers have until January to decide on Bauer's future.
Bauer was fined for the first 50 games of the next season.
Bauer was suspended for a total of 322 games by MLB in April 2022. He had been on administrative leave since July 2, 2021.
The woman's allegations were being investigated by the police department.
The woman's request for a temporary restraining order stated that Bauer "physically abused her on two different occasions" during consensual sex.

She said at one point that she was scared of him. I was in a lot of pain.
In April, Bauer filed a defamation lawsuit against the woman, accusing her of lying about their sexual encounters and trying to ruin his baseball career.
In August, the woman filed a countersuit.
Bauer's defamation lawsuit against one of the woman's former attorneys was thrown out by a judge, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The Dodgers signed Bauer to a three year contract. Each of the first two seasons included player opt-out.
The last time Bauer played in an MLB game was in June of 2021. He was put on administrative leave after making 17 starts for the Dodgers.
