The keystone of the new U.S. Space Force website is a rocket launch.

A new website face features an interactive animation of a rocket that will send a satellite into space.

The first flight of the Vulcan Centaur rocket is expected in the first quarter of next year. The military has said that the nextGPS launch will take place in January.

"Space lift team: heading to the launch pad temporarily," the new Space Force recruiting website (opens in new tab) animation announces as the more than 200 foot (61 meter) Vulcan rocket stands ready. The rocket goes into space and the gps satellite is ready for deployment.

The US Space Force is practicing space combat tactics.

The clickable options allow you to learn more about the rocket or satellite. According to the Air Force Times, the Space Force has more volunteers that they need to fill.

New guardians require highly skilled technical experts to be brought in to do these important critical missions, Saltzman said.

The smallest and youngest branch of the U.S. military, the Space Force, had 8,400 personnel in November.

Space Force is in the middle of refreshing the gps fleet, and current launch schedules suggest that the Vulcan Centaur will first be used to launch gps III-07, dubbed Sally Ride after the first NASA female astronauts who flew into space It was revealed after Ride's death that she was also a queer astronomer.

The Delta II, Delta IV and Atlas V rockets were used by ULA for many years. In December of last year, the first of the advanced satellites lifted off. The launch marked the first official "National Security Space" mission for the company.
