In her January 6 testimony, Guilfoyle compared two female GOP organizers, one of whom she said was her friend, to the catty teenage girls in the movie Mean Girls.
Following the publication of the panel's final report, the House Select committee has continued to release witness testimony transcripts. Guilfoyle's testimony was included in the document dump.
About a third of the way through her testimony, Guilfoyle referred to "Mean Girls" as lawmakers zeroed in on a series of text messages between her and a Republican.
Guilfoyle bragged about raising $3 million for the "Stop the Steal" rally while pushing to get more right-wing speakers for it. The most direct evidence that members of the Trump family were involved in financing and organizing the rally was found in the text messages.
A lawyer for Guilfoyle denied his client's involvement in a statement to the publication at the time, and Guilfoyle herself said in her January 6 interview that she didn't have anything to do with raising money for the event.
Guilfoyle told lawmakers that there was aturf war going on between the two women over the speaking list for the rally.
