A new set of leaked renders shows a device in a range of bright colors. The leak is courtesy of The Tech Outlook and it features the A34 with a 6.5-inch display, a 48-megapixel camera, and an Exynos chip. Lime is one of the color options that are exciting. It's purple. It's pearlescent! We could see a more colorful outlook for budget phones in 2023 if these renders are correct.

People on a budget were the only ones who wanted black phones. Most models in the A-series are black. It seems like awesome black is just black with a dumb name. If you go up to the S22 series or Z Flip 4, you will get more color options, like burgundy, purple, and whatever combination you can cook up for the foldable.

Apple and Google don't do as well as they could. The phone is available in red, black, and white. The excitement of lime wasn't quite as exciting. The formula of black-phone-plus-something-else for flagships, but the further down the budget range, the less colorful it is.

Colorful budget phones are not available in the US. Mint, copper, and peach are included in the budget range. There is a bright blue and jade fog in the United Kingdom. Black, black, and black, with a dark blue quantum, is a treat in the US.

Is it not asking for the moon to have at least one fun color?

What's the reason? Is it a way to keep phone prices low? Is it possible that the US carriers dictate everything about the US phone market? Is it ok to buy a black phone, slap a case on it, and call it quits? I think there is some truth in all of the above.

Even if they are the real deal, these colorful options won't make it to the US. The fun phone colors will be sold in other markets. It isn't asking for the moon to get just one color in addition to black, is it? Even though it is more likely that I will see a black phone on my desk sometime in the near future, I will still hold out hope for more colorful phones at every price point.
