Donald Trump completely dismissed global warming as a problem because it was freezing in Buffalo.

Global warming, what happened to it? In response to a story about the frozen homes in Buffalo, Trump asked bluntly on Truth Social.

As always, Trump confuses climate trends with the weather and views low temperatures in Buffalo as negating decades of an increasingly warming Earth due to the use of fossil fuels. Extreme weather, like in Buffalo that has killed dozens of people, are more evidence of the damage caused by climate change.

The last five years have been the hottest on record. At a climate summit in Egypt last month, the Secretary General of the United Nations warned against working together against global warming.

Trump seems to be befuddled by the warming Earth. He insists the planet's temperatures go up and they go down with no explanation.

When he was asked on Fox Business if the burning of fossil fuels is to blame for climate change, Trump said, "In my opinion, you have a thing called weather"

They were talking about global freezing in the 1920's. He said okay. The climate has always been changing and they couldn't use global warming because the temperatures were cool.

VARNEY: Is the climate changing because of human activity?

TRUMP: In my opinion you have a thing called weather, and you go up and you go down. If you look into the 1920s, they were talking about global freezing. pic.twitter.com/Ef95mIvb2w
