It is the highest December total ever recorded according to the station.

According to a report from the Arizona Department of Water Resources, the state was cooler than usual.

Mohave County received above average precipitation while most other counties received below average precipitation.

The Grand Canyon tour helicopter made a hard landing in Nevada.
