George R.R. Martin loves to give an update on either his work or his adaptation of his work at any time of the day or night. The author of Song of Ice and Fire gave an update on some of the adaptions of his work, including Peacock's take on his sci-fi series WildCards.

Development always has some of those moving faster than others. We are hoping that all of them have been greenlit. I don't think they are dead. You can take something off the shelf if you want to. Changes at HBO Max have affected us. The Wild Cards tv series is currently being developed for Peacock. I have books that I want to modify. Did I forget the story of the winds of winter? I didn't. You people will remind me if I ever did.
The Dunk and Egg series is an adaptation of Martin's novellas and follows the adventures of hedge knight Duncan the Tall and his squire Egg. It sounds like more could have been on the way but are now on the back burner. But like the author says, these things can be put on and hold and taken off at any time, and given House of the Dragon's strong debut this year, many of the doubts about Game of Throne's legacy have been proven incorrect.
We will probably have to wait a long time to find out what else Martin and Warner Bros. have in store for A Song of Ice and Fire.
