According to the NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Tony Pollard will not be playing for the Cowboys against theTitans.

Pollard didn't practice all week and was questionable for the game.

It's a tough break for Pollard and the Cowboys, who are still in the running for the title.

Pollard is playing his best football of the year. In 15 games, the fourth-year running back has rushed for 988 yards and nine touchdown and caught 39 passes for 372 yards and three scores.

He has appeared in at least 15 games in each of the last four seasons. Pollard won't be in the game for the first time this year.

In Pollard's absence, he will be taken on a lot of the work In 13 games this season, the 27-year-old has rushed for 832 yards and 11 touchdown and caught 17 passes for 92 yards.

He has at least one touchdown in each of his last eight games and will be looking to do it against Tennessee.

If the Cowboys jump out to an early lead, it's likely that Malik Davis will see an increase in workload. Davis has rushed for 103 yards and one touchdown on 23 carries this season.
