Police are investigating a hate crime after a man defecated in the garden of a former cricketer.

The ex-bowler said he had become a target of abuse after speaking out.

The 31-year-old spoke at the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport committee hearing about being abused and a manfecating in his garden.

The police believe the incident was racially motivated.

According to the South Yorkshire force, a man defecated in the front garden of a house on the evening of October 5th.

They want to speak to a man in connection with their investigation, and they need the public's help in identifying him.

The scandal that has plagued English cricket for much of the past two years was sparked by him.

Several current and former players and coaches were reprimanded after his testimony led to changes in Yorkshire's leadership.
