There are five playoff spots and multiple seeding battles left in the regular season. There are so many possibilities of how those 32 games could go. We are focusing on chalk.

The most likely seed combination in each conference was determined using the football power index. We used a single simulation to forecast the scores for the games and the playoffs. There is a 9% chance that theNFC seeds are in the exact order that is written below, and a 12% chance that theAFC seeds are in the exact order as well. It's not a lot, but it's a pretty good chance for an exact hit; both numbers are higher than last season.

We're going to break down the final two weeks based on how we see it playing out in simulations. Who got into the playoffs? Who was the top seed? Who did not make the playoffs? The crystal ball is owned by the FPI.

The Dolphins, who have lost five in a row, hold on against the Jets to get a wild-card spot.

Projecting how the AFC plays out

This is the first thing. The Buffalo Bills won their 14th game of the season.

2. Kansas City Chiefs (14-3)

3. Cincinnati Bengals (12-5)

4. Jacksonville Jaguars (8-9)

5. Los Angeles Chargers (10-7)

6. Baltimore Ravens (10-7)

7. Miami Dolphins (9-8)

---

8. New England Patriots (8-9)

9. Pittsburgh Steelers (8-9)

10. New York Jets (7-10)

11. Tennessee Titans (7-10)

12. Cleveland Browns (7-10)

13. Las Vegas Raiders (7-10)

14. Denver Broncos (5-12)

15. Houston Texans (4-12-1)

16. Indianapolis Colts (4-12-1)

Buffalo entered the final two weeks of the season in control of its own destiny for the top seed in the conference. The same record as Kansas City, but with a head-to-head win over the Chiefs and a game against the Cincinnati, the Bills have a chance to make the playoffs. Buffalo needs to take care of business and get a bye. In Week 17 of the season, the Bills blew out the Bengals 37-9, and in Week 18 they beat the Pats by 10 points. Josh Allen can take a break before the playoffs begin.

In recent weeks, it has been clear that the red-hot Cincinnati team would win the division over the Ravens. It comes down to a Week 18 game. This isn't a gimme for Cincinnati with Lamar Jackson back in the game. The Cincinnati offense got it done, scoring 31 points on the Ravens in a one-score Week 18 game, giving them home-field advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

It wasn't pretty, but the Jags came back to win the title. The record was not a.500 one. TheJaguars steal a division title by sneaking past the sinkingTitans in Week 18 of the season. While theTitans' offense could never get going, the Jags'Trevor Lawrence is fantastic. The winner of the wild-card game will face Justin Herbert.

Miami doesn't control its fate entering Week 18 after losing to New England in Week 17 The Bills knocked out New England, while the Dolphins narrowly escaped the Jets. The wild-card round will feature an exciting offensive match-up between the Miami Hurricanes and the Kansas CityChiefs.

Projecting how the NFC plays out

This is the first thing. The Eagles are 15-2

2. San Francisco 49ers (12-5)

3. Minnesota Vikings (12-5)

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-8)

5. Dallas Cowboys (13-4)

6. New York Giants (9-7-1)

7. Green Bay Packers (9-8)

---

8. Washington Commanders (8-8-1)

9. Seattle Seahawks (8-9)

10. New Orleans Saints (7-10)

11. Detroit Lions (7-10)

12. Los Angeles Rams (6-11)

13. Carolina Panthers (6-11)

14. Atlanta Falcons (6-11)

15. Chicago Bears (5-12)

16. Arizona Cardinals (4-13)

There was a brief No. 1-seed drama after the Eagles lost to the Cowboys. The Eagles took down the Saints in Week 17 to make sure they got some rest before the playoffs.

The top score each week will get $15,000. It's free to play. Pick your favorites.

The 49ers dropped a game to the Raiders in Week 17 despite being hot. The Vikings were knocked out of the playoffs by the Packers.

A lot depends on the week 17 game with the Carolinas. Do you think you're going to win? They are in. Do you think you'll lose? Things become more complicated. Despite a mostly miserable season, Tom Brady and the Bucs get it done. Brady leads a drive for a game-winning field goal that gave the Buccaneers a 24-21 victory over the Carolinas.

The Packers looked done following a 40-33 loss to the Eagles. Green Bay only had a 3% chance of making the playoffs. There's a 3% chance. This is what happens when it can still happen. The Packers go on a five-game winning streak to close out the year, and they get into the playoffs by beating the Lions. The Packers are not out yet.

Arizona has just a 2% chance of earning the No. 1 overall selection entering the final two weeks of the season. The Texans and Bears win twice, the Broncos win once, and the Broncos lose twice, which results in Arizona taking the top pick in the draft. It gives the team a tremendous asset to jump start a rebuild and presents a lot of opportunities and questions about the future of the leadership of the team.

What to expect in the playoffs

Projected wild-card matchups (7) Dolphins at (2) Chiefs (6) Ravens at (3) Bengals (5) Chargers at (4) Jaguars (7) Packers at (2) 49ers (6) Giants at (3) Vikings

(5) Cowboys at (4) Buccaneers

Who is going all the way? We can show you how it plays out in World No. 5,891. The Cowboys knocked the Eagles out of the playoffs. The Cowboys and 49ers will play for a spot in the Super Bowl, while the Bills and Chiefs will play for a spot in the playoffs. Dallas and Buffalo have played each other in the past two playoffs. The Bills won the Superbowl.
