The Bespoke Refrigerator Family Hub Plus is a fancy name for its latest fridge with a built-in touch screen. At 32 inches, it has a larger screen than the 21.5-inch one found on previous generations of the family hub refrigerators, which can be used to control smart home devices, display photos from the internet, and watch videos.
The Family Hub Plus allows users to watch 190 TV channels in the US or around 80 channels in South Korea without paying a monthly fee. The display's vertical orientation makes it suitable for watching social media content like TikTok videos and YouTube shorts, and includes a picture-in-picture mode that plays videos within a floating window, freeing the rest of the screen for other tasks.
Users of the Google Photos cloud will be able to share their content from the Family Hub to any mobile device thanks to the addition of support for the cloud. The Family Hub Plus can be used to download and display images from the internet. The Family Hub Plus can be used to display artwork and paintings, if you don't want to display family photos.
The SmartThings hub can be used to control the devices from the fridge display.
The Bespoke Refrigerator Family Hub Plus can be used to order groceries and frequently purchased products from Amazon. The built-in SmartThings hub can be used to control and monitor multiple SmartThings devices, and supports six Smart Things Home Life services: air care, home care, pet care, clothing care, energy, and cooking. The Matter smart home support is not mentioned.
The release date for the new Family Hub refrigerator, as well as any other specifications, have not been disclosed. There will be a showcase of the Bespoke Refrigerator Family Hub Plus at the Consumer Electronics Show in January.
