In a scene reminiscent of an ugly brawl near Detroit 18 years ago, three players were ejected for fighting in the first half of the Pistons' game against the Magic.
The Pistons had two players thrown out for their actions during the altercation in front of the bench.
The Magic passed the ball into the backcourt with 34 seconds remaining in the first half. As he slowed down to let it go out of bounds, he tried to cut past him along the sideline, but he was called for a backcourt violation.
The players from both teams got into a fight.
When he got up, he swung his arm and hit the man, who appeared to be unconscious.
The fight between the Pistons and Pacers in 2004 became known as "The Malice at the Palace".
Several Magic players could be in trouble for leaving the bench area. The players left the game as the bench emptied.
