One of the best players in the Class of 2024 has committed to the Tar Heels.

According to Jeff Borzello, a 5-star junior point guard has committed to North Carolina and can reclassify to the Class of 2023. The Tar Heels were chosen over many other schools.

A 6'1", 165-pound floor general from West Orange, New Jersey who plays for Link Academy is ranked as the No. 1 point guard and the 10th overall player in the nation.

The combination of scoring and playmaking skills of Cadeau is what makes him a good fit for North Carolina.

"North Carolina is a winning program and I would be surrounded by elite players when I get there," he said. I'll be playing for a winning program and contributing my freshman year as a starter. When I visited the coaching staff, I knew I wanted to be a part of it.

Four-star wing Drake Powell is in the Tar Heels' class of 2024. London was told that the deciding factor was whether or not he would choose to reclassify.

He said the roster would be the main aspect of his decision. If there is an open spot on the roster, I might consider reclassifying up.
