Stan Lee will be the subject of a documentary for Disney's streaming service, Disney Plus. The announcement is being made today because it would have been Lee's 100th birthday.
Some of Lee's appearances in the movies are shown in the announcement trailer. He was known before the movies as the person who helped write the stories they were based on.
Disney has used its streaming service to release content that ties into its own history and behind-the-scenes details, as have the engineers that design the company's theme parks. The Stan Lee doc is expected to be released sometime next year. The documentary With Great Power: The Stan Lee Story is available for free on both Crackle and Pluto TV.
