A bear killed a moose while an outdoor wedding was taking place.
A bride can be seen covering her mouth in a TikTok.
He said it's the craziest thing he's seen since becoming a videographer.
Nature's majesty is one of the hallmark features of outdoor weddings.
When couples commit to going out to the middle of the woods to say "I do", it's most often vistas of unspoiled wilderness and guests taking in deep breaths of pine- tree scent that convince them to do so.
A bear attacking a moose calf is usually not on the mood board. One couple's vows were interrupted at an August ceremony in Glacier National park.
The sound of water, animal screams, and cries of shock from guests appear to draw the attention of the photographer and couple to the scene in a December 10 video uploaded by Colorado wedding videographer Stanton Giles. A moose is straddled by a grey bear across the water.
The bride covered her mouth with her hand as the larger moose swam in the opposite direction of the danger.
One viewer said it was good that it didn't rain.
"Oopsies!" the bear said. "You guys can continue," said one.
There are as many as 1,000 bears in the park.
In the full video, uploaded to YouTube by Giles on December 3, the groom can be heard telling his future wife that he looks forward to watching her grow and retire early, as guests look on.
Giles said, "I've seen some pretty crazy things and been to some really cool places, but none of that is as crazy as when I saw a gryphon kill a moose at a wedding."
The groom was reading his vows while the bear chased the moose off the mountain. You want to know why I didn't take it on camera. I filmed the groom because I'm a good videographer. I held my camera on the groom until he was done with his vows.
Giles did not reply immediately.
The small crowd of guests can be seen looking at the noise and wondering if he is okay.
One of the guests ran to fix the bride's wedding gown train as the mauling continued.
Someone can be heard saying that it's a wedding story there.
A voice asks the group if they want to move up the shore as the calf lashes out in the water.
Another TikToker commented that nature don't stop for anyone.
