Following violent disorder at the Euro 2020 final, Wembley Stadium will be installing a new gated fence.
There was a failure in planning for the match which resulted in about 2,000 people getting into the stadium illegally.
The Football Association is in agreement with the plans submitted by the council.
New perimeter fencing will be put in place at entrances to deter unwanted guests from climbing and rushing towards the gates.
This will prevent unauthorized fans from being able to push through as a way of access into the stadium, according to the application.
There were around 10,000 fans at Wembley by midday on the day of the Euro 2020 final.
Many fans were already drunk and carrying bags full of booze.
Thousands of ticketless fans were able to break through 17 disabled entrances and fire doors as they gathered near the stadium.
New entrances could be built at the Club Wembley to protect visitors.
The plans will be decided by the council.
