Marcus is having a good time. According to two former England forwards, he is not the answer to Manchester United's need for a new goal scorer.
Alan Shearer and Michael Owen say that they need to buy a number nine to complement the quality of Marcus Rashford.
Against Forest, Marcus Rashford scored United's first goal after sweeping in a well- worked corner routine initiated by Christian Eriksen and then set up Anthony Martial to fire in the second midway through the first half.
The England international was able to cause problems for the Forest defence with his movement because he played deeper on the left.
Shearer said that Marcus looked better in the position he was in.

Owen agreed with his former England teammate.

He's not going to be the same player as the ones who score 30-plus goals a season.
He is a huge asset to this football club and gives them something different.
The need for a new 'out and out' forward has been obvious for a long time, and the search has been accelerated by the departure of Portugal's talisman.
There is still a feeling that Martial has had enough chances to prove his worth to United over the course of eight seasons.
Even though PSV's Gakpo is seen as being more productive behind a forward, United seem to have beaten him to his signing by the Reds.
If United's sporting and financial criteria were met, it would be good to get another forward.
Shearer said he would look to the market for a centre-forward.
It's difficult as many clubs are looking for someone that can score 25 goals a season.
Owen said thatRashford should get 20 a season if you include all the cups. It would be a good return if he got 15.
I think Manchester United needs the number nine, whether it's Martial or someone else.
In his 23 appearances last season, the 21-year-old scored two times, but never played a full 90 minutes.
He has netted 10 times in 21 games this season and is playing with a smile again.
"I'm enjoying it, but I'm not sure if it's as good as I've ever been playing," he said.
