Both programs are exclusive to those with certain premium credit cards and give them perks such as early check-in, late checkout, complimentary room upgrades, and more.
Hyatt Prive is a program that is open to everyone. A base room to a suite is excluded from the benefits of booking through Hyatt Prive. You cannot book Prive stays without an eligible travel agent on your account. You can pay a premium if you want to reserve a Hyatt Prive rate.

Hyatt has a program called Hyatt Prive that can give you big benefits at its higher-end hotels. All Park Hyatt, Andaz and Miraval properties as well as some properties in the Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Centric, Hyatt Regency, The Unbound Collection by Hyatt and Alila portfolios are included. The benefits of booking through Hyatt Prive varies by brand. Hyatt Prive stays come with perks.
There are more benefits to staying at Park Hyatt. You can get a hotel credit of $100 per room per stay at these hotels. When you book the Prive rate at a Hyatt property, you can get complimentary airport transfers.

Regardless of the length of your stay, you will generally get all these benefits. You must stay at least two nights at participating Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Hyatt Centric, Alila,JDV by Hyatt, Thomson Hotels and The Unbound Collection by Hyatt properties.
You might get perks as a part of your elite status, but these benefits are also included. World of Hyatt Globalist members may receive a further upgrade at arrival. As usual, you will still earn bonus points and qualify for elite credit.

Hyatt Prive benefits can be booked by anyone. If you don't need elite status, a special credit card or membership in an exclusive program, this is a great option. You can't book them through Hyatt's site if you don't have an IATA number.
You need to go through a travel agent to book a Hyatt Prive stay. Hyatt cut many travel agents from the Prive program in early 2021. Only travel agents who have certain levels of success are eligible.

The Prive rate should be the same as the standard rate. You can't get the Hyatt Prive benefits when you book with points or special rates. The Hyatt Prive rate is cheaper than the standard rate due to third- or fourth-night free promotions.
All Park Hyatt, Andaz and Miraval hotels, as well as select Alila, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Centric, Hyatt Regency,JDV by Hyatt, Thompson and Unbound Collection properties offer Hyatt Prive benefits. Many of the hotels don't participate in other programs.
Hyatt pays a commission to your travel adviser so they don't charge service fees for Hyatt Prive bookings.

Hyatt Prive stays are charged by the hotel. The World of Hyatt credit card is the best way to maximize these bookings. You will earn 4 points per dollar spent at participating properties on top of the usual World of Hyatt earnings if you book a Hyatt booking.
The World of Hyatt Credit Card will give you a welcome bonus of up to 60,000 bonus points if you add it to your wallet. You will earn 30,000 bonus points after spending $3,000 within your first three months from account opening, plus up to 30,000 more points by earning 2 bonus points total on purchases that normally earn 1 bonus point, on up to $15,000 in the first six months of account opening
You can still earn bonus points and elite credit on your stays if you book through a travel agent. You need to give your World of Hyatt number on Hyatt Prive reservations.

Hyatt Prive rates are not the cheapest unless you get a third- or fourth-night free promotion, and the benefits that come with them can sometimes make paying a bit more worthwhile.
