Andrew Whitworth, who retired after winning the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams, isn't ruling out a return to the field, despite rumors linking him to his former team.

"I've said this since the day I retired, I'll never say never," he said. There's always a possibility.

It was added by Whitworth.

I like to travel. I like to take chances. There is always one to me. There's a lot that goes into it. I would have to kick off the old tires and see if I could see if they still moved. The 41-year-old started his career with the Cincinnati. He spent 11 seasons with the club, earning three Pro Bowl selections and starting 164 of 168 games before moving on to the Rams. There, he was selected to the Pro Bowl for the second year in a row.

The news that starting right tackle La'el Collins would likely be out for the season with a left knee injury suffered in the team's 22-18 win over the New England Pats sparked rumors of a possible return to the field by Andrew Whitworth.

It would be difficult for him to switch to right tackle since he spent most of his career at left tackle.

The Cincinnati is 11-4 and has already qualified for the playoffs. The team may add another player to the offensive line before entering the playoffs.
