Two top Solana NFT projects, DeGods and y00ts, have announced they are leaving the block in 2023, which is causing conflicting feelings in the community.

The teams shared that De Gods and y00ts will be moving to Polygon early next year. The DUST token, used to mint NFTs on the De Gods' platform, will transfer to the respective blockchains.

Some community members were against the move while others were excited and one person even referred to it as a level up.

Much of the creator economy's attention at the beginning of the year was devoted to Solana and ETH. We decided to go against the trend and focus on the undiscovered potential of web3 by hiring large enterprise brands, Defi platforms and gaming companies. Through white-glove partnership support, we did this well.

The layer-2Blockchain is a well-known home for projects in the space. Starbucks and Disney are two of the major brands that have partnerships with Polygon.

Frank, the creator of y00ts, said on Monday that there is an argument to be made that De Gods has ended on Solana. It was difficult to grow at the rate we wanted to. It is what we have to do if we want to grow.
