After being deported over his vaccine status, Novak was welcomed back into Australia.

He claimed that he had obtained a medical exemption to bevaccinated because he had recently recovered from Covid-19.
After 10 days of legal argument, the government decided that he did not meet the requirements for entry, so his visa was canceled and he was not allowed to return to Australia until 25 years from now.
In the build-up to the tournament, crowds gathered outside of his hotel to protest against his deportation.
Immigration Minister Andrew Giles, who came to power in May, reversed the ban last month.
"We welcome him back to Australia and I don't think there will be a backlash," said Tiley.
