The ultra-wealthy love the plane because I flew on it from Miami to New Jersey.

The company has delivered over 100 Global 7500 business planes, dubbed the "Ferrari of the Skies."

The plane is not the fastest. The 12-seater Cessna Citation X+ can travel at Mach 0.935.

The research was done for the upcoming Global 8000, which will be the world's fastest business plane at 0.94 Mach.

NetJets will be the first customer for Bombardier's new private jet, the world's fastest passenger plane since the Concorde.

The G700 private jet is the main competitor of the Global 7500. The rival aircraft can fly up to 8, 630 miles, reach Mach 0.925, and have a huge cabin with seating for up to 19 people.

We were among the first to ride on the new G700 and saw how it will stand out against its competitors.

While the G700 is popular among business travelers, Bombardier's longer-range jet can offer more routes and give operators more flexibility.

There is a bathroom in the master bedroom.

Two people can sleep in the bedroom, two can sleep in the entertainment section, two can sleep in the dining room, and two can sleep in the meeting room on the plane.

Thanks to Bombardier's Nuage seats that convert into double or single beds, the last four are accommodated.

Six people would be required to be family members or in a couple with double beds. There are two in the single beds and one in each double.

The jet's configuration sets it apart from other planes, like the G650ER, which can only carry up to 16 people and doesn't have a bedroom.

According to Global 7500 pilots, the flight deck design promotes safety, reduces workload, and helps better manage flight duties.

One of the most innovative features of the jet is its six person dining area, which is created by fitting a leaf between the two sets of lounge chairs.

Guests can use a dial to adjust things like temperature and lighting.

The company has a lighting system that reduces leg lag on long-haul flights.

It's clear why billionaires like Andrew Forest are flocking to the business jet after touring the aircraft several times.

It's impressive speed, comfort, and economics make it a powerhouse of a plane, and the $10,000 per rental hour price tag would easily be worth it for those that can afford it.
