When she visited the White House for the first time, Kim said she hated it because she didn't know much.

In an interview with "IRL", Kim said she was confused by the abbreviations officials used, and had to ask her lawyer what "DOJ" means.

The reality TV star went to the White House in order to get the release of Alice Marie Johnson, a woman sentenced to life in prison in 1996 for drug charges. The president commuted Johnson's sentence.

While studying to become a lawyer, KimKardashian has ventured into prison and criminal justice reform.

When she was in the White House for the first time, she didn't know much about clemency talks or attorney jargon.

The lawyer was with her at the White House.

I wasn't familiar with all of the abbreviations in the White House, so they said "okay this person at the DOJ", and I wondered what the DOJ was. The reality TV star said. My attorney was texting me all the time, but I was never too embarrassed to ask.
