Stefan Bajcetic and Jurgen Klopp
Stefan Bajcetic is the youngest player to score for Liverpool in the Premier League since Raheem Sterling in January 2013

"Cheeky as hell", "first senior goal", and "like a Christmas story" are just a few of the words used to describe Bajcetic.

In their first league match since the World Cup break, the teenager came on as a substitute to restore the two-goal advantage.

It was his seventh senior appearance for the club and he has played a total of just 189 minutes. Who is Bajcetic?

'Cheeky as hell and not worried about anything'

Bajcetic signed his first professional contract with the premier league side at the age of 17 after joining from his hometown club in Spain.

His father represented Serbia at international level in football.

After making his Under-18s debut, Bajcetic occasionally stepped up to the Under-23s after making his Under-16s debut.

He became the youngest player in the history of the Reds to appear in the group stage of the European competition when he came on as a second-half substitute in September.

Speaking to Amazon Prime after his side's victory, Klopp said that Bajcetic was not worried about anything.

He is a football player and he can do that very well.

The genes are there, but so is the attitude, awareness and match intelligence. It's a pleasure working with these boys.

'Exceptional' Bajcetic has 'important role' to play

At the age of 18 years and 65 days, Bajcetic became the youngest scorer in the premier league.

He is the second youngest Spaniard to score in the competition, behind Cesc Fabregas, who did it in August 2004.

The young talent was not the only one given a chance to play in the premier league.

Ben Doak became the youngest Scottish player in the history of the premier league when he made his debut at the age of 17 years and 45 days.

"We know that we have to create a situation where these boys can help us, and they can help us, but for that we need to be stable," said the manager. They can play their part if we are stable.

The boss said thatStefan was an exceptional talent. The way he plays football is great. His attitude is great.

What a dribbler he is. It's great to have them on. They have an important role for us and they were able to play.
