A group of people are planning on flying around the moon.

The nine crew members, including himself, would go to the moon in a spaceship. There is not a flight date yet.

There are no scientific experiments or other responsibilities for artists who apply for the opportunity, according to Maezwawa.

In the announcement video in Japanese, Maezawa said, "I hope each and every one will recognize the responsibility that comes with travelling to the moon and back."

There are eight crew members and two backup members selected for the flight. The biographies of them are based on the website dearMoon.

Yusaku Maezawa is a Japanese billionaire who made his fortune as an online fashion retailer. The amount he is paying for dearMoon has not been disclosed.

The dearMoon project was announced in partnership with SpaceX after a controversial girlfriend contest for a space mission. There were no qualification requirements posted at the time of the opening of the application for dearMoon.

Maezawa flew to space for 12 days in December 2021, paying for seats to and from the International Space Station for himself and his videographer, Yozo Hirano.

2. Rhiannon Adam, photographer

Rhiannon Adam is an Irish-born photographer who splits her time between London and the US. Her parents bought a sailboat for her to sail around the world. She studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. The Meitar Award for excellence in photography is one of the awards.

Rhiannon works on research-based, long-form, social documentary projects that use analogue photographic processes and archive materials. Her early life experiences have influenced her work, with a focus on remote communities, the concept of utopia, and the fine line between fact and fiction.

3. Steve Aoki, D.J./producer

Steve Aoki is a Miami-born music producer, artist, fashion designer and philanthropist. Dim Mak is a record label founded by him. Maluma is one of his artist collaborations.

The Guinness World Record for the "most travelled musician in a single calendar year" was set by Aoki. His performances have been seen by many people. NFTs are controversial forms of art ownership through the use of technology.

4. Yemi A.D., multidisciplinary creative

The son of a Nigerian and a Czech mother was born in the former Czechoslovakia in 1981. He describes himself as a multi-disciplinary creative force.

He has designed, choreographed and directed shows and campaigns for a number of companies, including Apple, Mercedes Benz, SNL and CBS. The Czech Goodwill Ambassador is the founder of Moonshot Platform, a U.S. non-profit that supports young leaders.

4. Tim Dodd, YouTuber / "Everyday Astronaut" founder

Tim Dodd is an Iowa born content creator, photographer, videographer and musician. He started "Everyday Astronaut" in 2013 as a photography project and expanded it to include a series of videos on his website.

His mission is to bring space down to Earth for everyday people. He specializes in making aviation topics more understandable for the average person through research and videos.

5. Brendan Hall, documentary filmmaker

Brendan Hall is a documentary filmmaker who was born in Connecticut. He has brought viewers on adventures that explore the frontiers of our human spirit, from following a remote medical expedition through the Amazon rainforest to scientists uncovering wooly mammoth bones in Siberia.

He is a graduate of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts and has contributed to a number of organizations. Personal stories from various U.S. national parks will be included in Hall's first feature-lengthdocumentary.

6. Karim Iliya, photographer and filmmaker

At the time of selection, Iliya was a photographer, film maker and whale swimming guide. He lived in the Middle East and Asia as a child. His passion for nature has brought him alongside battling whales, amidst exploding volcanoes, deep within the ice worlds of theArctic, and into many of the fascinating places that humans and animals make their home.

Iliya is an advocate for whales and birds and has worked in more than 45 countries. His work has been published in a number of magazines. Kogia, a non-profit media library and film group, was co- founded by him.

7. TOP / Choi Seung Hyun, musician

Top was 35 years old at the time of selection. He is a musician, actor, and art collector.

He was the leader of the K-pop group Bigbang. His films include "Tazza: The Hidden Card" and "Into the Fire".

Top's art collection has collaborated with the famous art auction house. His own wine brand was recently launched.

8. Dev D. Joshi, actor

At the time of selection, he was an Indian-born professional actor. He has been performing since he was 3 years old. The child Indian superhero "Ball Veer" was portrayed by him.

The highest civilian order in India for people under the age of 18 is called the "Bal Shakti Puraskar", and it was given to him by the President of India. A graduate of the United Nations Institute of Training and Research, Joshi is a founder of the non-governmental organization D3 caring social club.

9 Kaitlyn Farrington (backup), Olympic snowboarder

The Idaho-born Farrington is a snowboard competitor. She won a gold medal in the showboard halfpipe at the Olympics. She retired after being diagnosed with a spine condition.

She had to give up something she loved too much and redefine herself in the snowboard community. She likes snowboarding in the wilderness and calls it adventure snowboarding. A degree in business communication is being pursued by Kaitlyn.

9. Miyu (backup), dancer

At the time of selection, Miyu was a professional dancer. She is proud of the show she did at the Cotton Club in Tokyo that sold out multiple times.

Miyu has spent the past decade educating, inspiring, and connecting people through dance and movement all over the world. Miyu proves time and time again that kindness, grace, and humility are your driving force.
