Over the last hour or so, the miles and points universe has exploded with excitement because Chase has paused Chase for the rest of the year. It is a miracle. I made sure I slept until April 1st by checking my calendar. The data points began to pile up. fanatics lined up to put in their app, only to be pigs for the slaughter as they waited for the approval The denial hit them harder than the wind chill.
DansDeals had a Chase insider who claimed that Chase has dropped all of their Ink cards by the end of the year. There are many reports that this isn't the case. Doctor of Credit wrote a post about the 5/24 freeze and it can be found on a number of social media sites. PositiveDPs are likely to be trolled or counted up as incorrect.
I lined up an application for myself and my wife so I could be a part of the fun. Both were denied right away. A personal report of a pending result is usually a good sign, but not a confirmation of approval.
Safe enough to say this is not a freeze on 5/24 and that most, if not all, will be denied just like they would have last week. If you don’t care about hard pulls, and struggle with FOMO, then by all means be my guest. Just don’t be surprised when it doesn’t go your way.
