Two people eating at an In-N- Out Burger in San Ramon on Christmas Eve were confronted with racist language and threats.

Arine Kim and her friend were filming themselves at an In-N- Out restaurant. The man asked if they were filming themselves eating. You are gay.

Kim and her friend were laughing. The man asked if they were Japanese or Korean. Are you in a relationship with Kim? Are you gay with him?

At one point, Kim's friend asked if he could take the man out to dinner, and replied with sarcasm. Kim asked her friend to stop talking to the stranger after she realized the incident could get out of hand. The man threatened to spit in their face.

The man referred to himself as a slave master after the pair ignored him. He told him to leave in a minute.

Kim and her friend waited for the In-N- Out location to close. One of the employees was asked to check outside to make sure he wasn't waiting for them. The employee was watching as they walked.

The video caught the attention of the San Ramon Police Chief. Carlson encouraged the pair to reach out. Kim said they have been in contact with the police.

Carlson posted a picture of the suspect. The man in the photo exhibited similar behavior when the photo was taken. Police say the car in the picture is a silver mustang with Florida license plates.

Kim is happy that they didn't get hurt. I am thankful that my friend and I are both safe and out of harms way.
