It's not always a good idea to give away a nice thing. You can see any number of Black Fridays.

It was a Christmas Day gift that wreaked havoc. A bit of a stir was caused by the free games that were given away during the holiday sale of the company.

Every day for years, the annual sale has included a daily prize. Along with daily full-game freebies like Them's Fightin' Herds and Metro: Last Light Redux, this year's included add-ons to the two games.

Death Stranding, the company's popular game from 2020, will be given away on December 25th. Users got wind that the game had a Director's Cut.

It's not good.

Instead of giving away the base game, the company decided to give away the server.

It's still a good game. The director's cut is not the chef's kiss.

If you get the base game, you can upgrade to the director's cut for $6. Death Stranding was free to play on the site until the morning of December 26th. FIST is currently available.
