It seems like it is in serious trouble. The first attempt at expanding its universe with a new live-action show seems to be going disastrously, as The Witcher has lost its star after next season.
The good news is that The Witcher: Blood Origin is the #1 show on the streaming service and it has a lot of viewers.
The good news is that it may make them wish they didn't bother. The Witcher: Blood Origin has the worst audience scores I have ever seen for a major streaming series.
I suppose technically I have seen worse, but my favorite stat is the double zero for both of its films. Is it possible for audience scores? I have never seen a percentage like that before.
The last time I wrote about a series with a low audience score was when Resident Evil was canceled. I hadn't seen anything like that back then. Jupiter's Legacy, a show that had a 41% critic score and a 77% audience score, was liked more by the audience than it was by the critics. Infinite Darkness, the CG RE series, had a 50% critic score and 39% audience score, which was close to Resident Evil.
More for you.
That's right.
The Forbes Snowman has been found.
The Witcher: Blood Origin may be the worst reviewed show on the internet. What's the reason? There are some samples from both groups.
It's just brutally. I don't know what went wrong, but I need to figure it out to make sure the last few seasons of The Witcher don't suffer the same fate.
