Pele's family gather at hospital as condition worsens

The family of Brazil's greatest footballer, known as "Pel", gathered at the Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paolo on Saturday to be with him.

Doctors said this week that Pele's cancer had advanced and that he needs care for his heart and kidneys. His family said he would stay in the hospital during the holiday season.

Since a colon cancer was removed from him last year, he has been receiving regular medical treatment.
