Craig Gordon: Hearts confirm Scotland goalkeeper's season has ended after leg break

Craig Gordon will miss the rest of the season after breaking his legs.

The club captain will be released from the hospital in the near future.

Gordon was taken off on a stretcher in the 76th minute of Saturday's 2-2 draw with Dundee United.

He was Gordon's replacement.

The 30-year-old is likely to make his club debut against his former club on Wednesday.

Gordon won't be able to play in Scotland's Euro 2024 opener against Cyprus and Spain.

The goalkeeper has suffered three serious injuries in his career.

He broke his arm in 2009, and it broke again the next year.

Gordon signed for Celtic three years after he had knee surgery, but did not play again.
