Rams punctuate blowout win vs. Broncos with pick-six (0:26)

The Rams scored a touchdown on the second pick of the night. There is a time and a place.

Randy Gregory put the exclamation point on it all when he threw a punch in the post game. The Denver Broncos lost their season in a big way on Sunday in a loss to the Rams.

It was the Broncos' 10th loss in their past 12 games and they are still 0-for-America in away games this season.

"I think they're upset for all the losing, we all are," the Broncos' coach said. "That's not what we're about, that's not what we want to do." We were going to win this game but we weren't ready. It was all of us.

Is that correct? I'm embarrassed that it always begins with me. That isn't what we've done all year.

The Broncos' players might have built up good will after making a game of it two weeks ago against the Kansas City Chiefs, who jumped to a 27-0 lead. The Rams scored on eight of their nine possessions.

The only possession the Rams didn't score on was the last one.

"They were hitting all their 3s; it was like basketball," Williams said.

Russell Wilson threw two picks on his first three passes. The Rams got the ball on the Broncos' 11- and 34- yard lines after the turnovers. After their first field goal drive, the Rams had a 17 point lead after the Broncos had not run a single play.

They started the game with 17 points and 14 points. It can't happen, that's the bottom line. No one wants to see what we put out there. That was awful, that was not us.

I think a lot needs to happen, but I think the first thing I need to do is play to the standards that I know how to play to. Right now, we're at a low point.

Wilson threw three picks and was sacked six times in the third quarter as the game dissolved into a series of arguments and tempers. After Wilson was sacked on back-to-back plays in the third quarter, backup quarterback and guard exchanged words.

Risner called the hug the "heat of the moment".

Gregory was pulled from the game twice, once in the first half when he was flagged for throwing his helmet after a Rams touchdown, and again in the second half when he was flagged for a late hit. He was taken out after the second one.

As the teams crowded the middle of the field on their way to their locker rooms after the game, Gregory and the Rams guard exchanged words. The two men were separated after the first punch.

Gregory, who signed a five-year, $70 million deal in the summer and has played in six games this season because of a knee injury, will most likely be fined for punching. Since he suffered the injury in Week 4, Gregory has only played two times.

Gregory said, "Y'all want to know if I hit him in the mouth, I did."

Coming into the game, the team had eight losses by seven or fewer points, but the loss was the most one-sided of the bunch.

The biggest margin of defeat since the Broncos lost 59-14 to the Oakland Raiders in 2010 was on Sunday.

It was a bad game.
