The footage shows Earth behind the moon.

The first flight of NASA's next- generation Space Launch System (SLS) rocket saw it's first flight on November 26.

NASA explained that the moon and Earth were in a fixed position on the solar array while the camera was in motion.

Some stabilization was put into the video before it was shared.

The famous Earthrise shot was shared by NASA on Christmas Day.

The Artemis I mission began on November 16th and ended on December 11th.

The closest an astronauts-rated spaceship has ever traveled from our planet to the moon is 80 miles.

The same path as the Artemis I flight will be followed by astronauts in the Artemis II mission.

The Artemis III mission will attempt to put the first woman and first person of color on the surface of the moon. NASA is planning to build a moon base in the future. It wants to use the moon as a stepping stone to Mars in the future.
