According to a report, one of Cincinnati's top offensive linemen will be out for the remainder of the season.
According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, offensive tackle La'el Collins will miss the rest of the season after he tore his knee in Saturday's game.
Collins left the game in the first quarter after Davon Godchaux rolled up his leg. Collins said that he didn't suffer any more structural damage after the game. According to Collins, his knee was stable and he might have avoided a serious injury.
The team returned to Cincinnati on Sunday and the diagnosis was still pending. A person for Collins could not be reached.
Collins played at right tackle in Saturday's game. He signed a three-year deal with the team in the middle of the 21st century. During the regular season and playoffs, Cincinnati's quarterback was sacked 70 times and the front office brought in four new linemen.
Collins was the team's starting right guard in the Super Bowl and is expected to be the team's right tackle in the foreseeable future.
