Derek Carr Criticized by Raiders Fans After Davante Adams Struggles in Steelers Loss

When the Green Bay Packers traded six-time All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders in the off-season, there was an expectation that he would reform his relationship with his college teammate and make him a better player.

Adams didn't produce with the same consistency we've come to expect from him, as he registered just two catches for 15 yards in the Raiders' 13-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday.

Carr threw for 174 yards and a touchdown and had three turnovers. His last pick came after Pittsburgh took its first lead of the game in the fourth quarter.

The NFL did not like how Carr failed to get Adams involved in the offense.

Davante Adams left Aaron Rodgers to play with this bum.

Adams has not scored a touchdown in his last three games, with less than 100 yards, 10 targets or 5 catches. A player of his caliber should always be a factor for a team that is on the verge of elimination from the playoffs.

If the Raiders want to have a chance against the 49ers on New Year's Day, they will need Carr to use Adams more.
