The official residence of the Vice President of the United States is the U.S. Naval Observatory, and the Christmas Eve drop-off is one of several instances in which Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has bussed migrants to Washington, D.C.

The migrants were taken to a church by the Migrant Solidarity Mutual Aid Network.

In order to pressure the Biden administration to take action on immigration enforcement and border security, Gov. Abbott sent migrants from border cities to the nation's capital in April. Many people have criticized this practice.

Abbot wrote that his policies would leave many people in the cold. Your open border policies have led to a large burden for Texas.

The Republican said that the current border crisis was caused by Biden alone.

He said that the crisis for border communities in Texas was a catastrophe of his own making. It's not the job of border states to address this crisis. The U.S. Constitution states that it is the President's job to defend the borders, regulate immigration, and manage those who seek refuge in the U.S.

When the Title 42 policy is ended, the situation will only get worse, warned Abbott.

"Vice President Harris has yet to visit the border to see firsthand the impact of the open border policies she has helped implement, even going so far as to claim the border is secure," Abbott said. "Texas will continue to send migrants to sanctuary cities until President Biden and Border Czar Harris step up and do their jobs to secure the border."

The Venezuela Migration Enforcement Process, which was announced in October, will prevent Venezuela's citizens from entering the US between ports of entry.

The DHS leads a whole of government strategy to secure the borders and build safe, orderly, and humane immigration processes.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement lost track of 150k illegal immigrants due to the lack of process.

There are 23,000 border patrol agents and officers working to secure the U.S.-Mexico border, and the federal government is working closely with the government of Mexico to bring perpetrators to justice.

The DHS said that the collaboration includes migration checkpoint, additional resources and personnel, joint targeting of human smuggler organizations, and expanded information sharing.
