Nick Bosa, a defensive end for the San Francisco 49ers, has a vocal supporter in his locker room.
George Kittle told reporters that Bosa was the defensive most Valuable Player in the victory over the Washington Commanders.
The tight end said that he doesn't see a reason why Bosa shouldn't be in the discussion for the award.

If you look at what he does every Sunday compared to everyone else around the league whether it's offense or defense, I don't know why he's not in the MVP conversation."
One of the few players on that side of the ball who could steal a vote away from a top quarterback is likely to be Bosa.
It's assumed that the voting for the Defensive Player of the Year will come down to a battle between Bosa and the Dallas Cowboys star, who is also a defensive player. New York Jets defensive end Maxx Crosby is one of the players who could get into the mix.
The 49ers star has a statistical advantage if we assume that the other players have pulled ahead of them. His league-leading total now stands at 17.
Bosa had four quarterback hits and two tackles for loss. He is up to 18 tackles on the season. Despite missing one game due to a groin injury, the three-time Pro Bowler has put up some good numbers.
