Dana White said Stephan Bonnar was one of the most important fighters. He will always be remembered for his fight with Forrestgriffin. He gave his best to the fans and they loved him. He will not be around anymore. Bonnar competed in the very first season of "The Ultimate Fighter" back in 2005 and went all the way to the finale. He went on to compete at a high level for several years after he was signed to the UFC. He fought some of the biggest names in the sport, including Jon Jones, Mark Coleman, Krzysztof Soszynski, and others. He retired from the UFC in 2012 after a 15-year career. Bonnar would be in the HOF the next year. Bonnar wrestled in the Impact Wrestling league. He fought after the UFC. Bonnar will be remembered as one of the catalysts that helped UFC grow into what it is today. He's survived by his family. The man was 45. I am sad.
