A Marriott Bonvoy Gold member was looking in when a local Marriott refused to honor his reservation. The man found out that he and his pregnant wife weren't getting a free breakfast in the morning.
The man's wife was still angry at him for not prepaying for the room or booking a hotel when she was pregnant. The man's reservation for a king-size suite wasn't honored despite sending a messenger several weeks earlier
The reservation, which had been booked with points, didn't include an option for late check-in and the room was given away to a Roman Centurion who had secured the suite for a lowkey orgy.
The hotel offered a lower-class room that was still on the hotel grounds. The small room had organic, local fresh grass bedding, natural lighting, and a petting zoo.
The couple begrudgingly acknowledged receiving gifts the next day which alleviated the pain and made them feel better.
