Saturday's game between the Houston Texans and the TennesseeTitans has been postponed due to power failures and other issues in the area. It was made public.

Today's game has been postponed due to the extreme weather and power failures in the area. The statement was released by the TITANS. "This decision was made in partnership with the NFL, Office of Emergency Management, Nashville Electric Service and the Mayor's Office in an abundance of caution to make sure that the game wouldn't negatively impact our community in any way." Non-essential power around the stadium is being explored. Fans are allowed to enter the gates.

The operations of the game were more important to the well-being of our community than the safety of our neighbors.

The game was supposed to be played on Saturday but Nashville mayor John Cooper asked the team to delay it because of the high power demand.

TVA's rolling black outs will continue, according to Cooper. Non-essential businesses should reduce power use. The 12pm game of the TITANS has been postponed in order to support our neighbors.

The game at Nissan Stadium is expected to be extremely cold. In December of last year, the temperature was 23 degrees at the start of the game.

The temperature at the time of the game was below 23 degrees.

The field was covered with a tarp four hours before the game so it wouldn't get cold. The air was powered by gas.

The fans have been admitted.
