He said that Trump persuaded extremists to change their plans. He noted that Trump tried to change the outcome of the election. The situation became worse because of his declaration that Vice President Mike Pence didn't have the courage to interfere with the certification.
It is impossible to think of anything happening without Donald Trump being in charge. Bring the evidence forward if someone has a theory as to why it happened. There was no evidence of involvement by anti fa.
