Tyler Huntley will make just his third start of the season on Saturday, but he's done enough to earn Pro Bowl consideration.

Huntley was voted as one of the fourth alternates for the Pro Bowl.

Lamar Jackson is a third alternate.

In four appearances, Huntley has 413 passing yards, no touchdown and two turnovers. He has a rushing touchdown.

When Jackson was injured, the quarterback out of Utah had a bigger role, totaling 1,081 passing yards and three touchdown in seven games.

The production is not what the quarterback is used to.

Despite leading the fan vote, Tua Tagovailoa was left out of the three quarterbacks from the AFC. The first alternate is the Dolphins quarterback.

Herbert was the second alternate.

Huntley received more votes than some prominent players.

The Pro Bowl Games, the league's all-star event, will not have a single game this year. If a player drops out due to injury or if they are competing in the Super Bowl, alternates could be needed.

The Pro Bowl had 11 quarterbacks last year and five alternates.

Huntley is a restricted free agent and could use a Pro Bowl selection to his advantage.

The first team with two quarterbacks at the same event would be Huntley and Jackson.
